The short version
I keep what you type into the contact form and, if you become a client, what I need to quote, invoice and look after your project. No tracking, no advertising, no analytics. I do not sell anything about you to anyone, ever.
Who I am
FaithBuilt Development builds websites and web apps. I work online. For anything in this policy, email hello@faithbuiltdevelopment.com.
What I collect
Only what you hand me. When you send a message through this site I keep your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, your message, your organization and rough budget if you fill those in, and which package you selected if you selected one.
If you become a client, I also keep what the work needs: your name, email address and organization, the quotes I send you and when each one was first opened, your invoices, payments and receipts, and whether you are on a hosting plan.
That is the whole list.
What I do not collect
There are no analytics on this site. No advertising pixels, no tracking scripts, nothing watching which pages you read. I do not know who you are unless you tell me.
The spam check may store a short-lived value in your browser to remember that it passed. The only cookie this site sets is for the owner signing in to the admin area, and it is never set for visitors.
Why I keep it
To read your message and reply to it, and, if you become a client, to quote, invoice and keep a record of what you have paid. Those are the only reasons. I do not add you to a mailing list and I do not send you anything you did not ask for.
Who else handles it
Three companies, because the site cannot work without them. Cloudflare hosts the site, stores your message, and runs the spam checks on the form. Resend delivers the email, both the copy that reaches me and the confirmation that reaches you. Stripe handles payments: when you pay an invoice or start a hosting plan, you do it on Stripe’s own secure page, so your card details go to Stripe and never reach this site. Stripe tells the site that the payment went through.
Each of them handles your information under its own privacy policy. I share it with nobody else and I never sell it.
The spam check
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell a person from a bot. It looks at how your browser behaves rather than at who you are. It does not build a profile of you or follow you to other sites.
Each message is then read by an automated check, run on Cloudflare, that looks for sales pitches. A message it flags is still kept, and I still see it in my inbox, marked as held. When I correct one of its decisions, a short extract of that message is shown to it as an example when it checks later messages.
How long I keep it
As long as it is useful for the conversation it belongs to, and no longer. If you would rather I did not keep it at all, ask, and it is gone.
What you can ask for
Email hello@faithbuiltdevelopment.com and you can ask what I hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. No form and no process. Just ask, and you get a person.
Children
This site is for businesses and organizations. I do not knowingly collect anything from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
