A website is not a thing you finish. It is a thing you keep.

The care plan covers hosting, the domain, security updates, backups, and someone to email when something looks wrong. It is what keeps the build affordable up front, and it is why sites built here do not quietly rot two years later.

Plainly: on a care plan the site runs while the plan runs. If you would rather own everything outright instead, that is a higher price up front and the domain becomes yours — just say which suits you.
